Achieving compliance
CSNSW provides advice and guidance to diocesan school authorities and schools conducted by Religious Institutes and Ministerial Public Juridic Persons (Catholic Independent Schools).
This helps them meet NSW and Commonwealth educational and financial compliance requirements.
The approved system authority
Since the CSNSW Registration System began operations on 1 July 2023, with CSNSW appointed as the approved system authority for the Registration System, we will monitor member schools to ensure they are compliant with the requirements for registration.
CSNSW’s monitoring processes seek to assure NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) that schools that are members of the Registration System are compliant with the requirements for registration – and as relevant – accreditation as per the Education Act 1990 (NSW).
Ensuring compliance is the responsibility of the proprietor of the schools.
