Catholic education in NSW is socio-economically and geographically diverse, educating over 268,000 students across 592 systemic and ‘non-systemic’ schools.
Catholic education provides a mixture of primary and secondary schools, combined K-12 schools, special schools and special assistance schools. Some schools also operate early childhood education and care and other prior to school services as part of their offering.
Employment of teachers within Diocesan schools is coordinated at a Diocesan level. CSNSW is not involved in the employment of Catholic school employees.
