In 2024, the Commonwealth Government launched the Student Wellbeing Boost.
The program provides one-off funding to all schools in NSW.
It aims to enhance mental health and wellbeing resources.
This initiative addresses the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and successive lockdowns on student mental health.
With this funding, schools can:
- acquire new programs, services or resources
- bolster existing initiatives tailored to their students' specific needs.
Schools receive their allocated funds directly from the NSW Government, without the need for an application.
