Established in 1995, NSWCCC unites 11 dioceses and 1 association, creating a cohesive body for representative sports.
Pathway for students
The sports pathway for students in Catholic secondary schools in NSW typically involves:
- NSWCCC – Competing at the diocesan and association level
- NSW All Schools – Advancing to the NSW All Schools Championships
- School Sport Australia (SSA) – Representing at the national level.
This structured pathway allows talented student-athletes to:

- find opportunities to showcase their skills
- achieve sporting excellence.
