2021 NAPLAN results are now available in Scout (Ref: 256/21)

Schools should note that student growth is currently only available for Reading and Numeracy.  Other domains will follow shortly.

NSW Catholic schools access Scout directly via NETid. Schools should contact [email protected] for assistance with access to Scout through NETid or to report any issues identified in Scout.

Hardcopy 2021 NAPLAN Student Individual Reports have been dispatched to schools from 6 September. Schools should consider that there may be some delays in delivery given the current lockdown situation.

ACARA has released the ISR FAQs for parents/carers in both English and  in other languages. ISR FAQs are available here.

Assessment and Data Literacy Modules (Ref: 238/21)

Professor Jim Tognolini of the Centre for Educational Measurement & Assessment (CEMA) Sydney University have designed a series of modules in assessment and data literacy.

The modules are NESA Accredited at proficient teacher and available online and on demand. Catholic Schools New South Wales is offering the modules at a reduced price of $270 per teacher per module and we also have fully funded places for Assessment Literacy Module 1 and Data Literacy Module 1 for schools and diocese.

ATO School Leaver Program applications are open (Ref: 258/21)

Applications for the new Australian Taxation Office (ATO) School Leaver program open 6 September and close 1 October 2021.

The ATO is looking for candidates in Newcastle, Gosford,  Geelong who have successfully completed their Year 12 studies in the last two years (2020 and 2021).

The 12-month ongoing program offers many benefits, including a competitive salary, structured on-the-job and corporate training.

Candidates will have the chance to challenge and enrich their learning by undertaking work experience in an administration officer or client experience officer role. The ATO is looking for candidates who have a willingness to learn, embrace challenges and are team players. They’ll be supported along the way by a work placement team leader, learning and development trainers and a dedicated program manager.
